The commander of an Iran-backed militia is among four killed in a “US drone strike” in eastern Baghdad amid mounting regional tensions. At least two rockets struck inside a building used by Harakat al-Nujaba'a, an ex-paramilitary faction of the Hashed al-Shaabi grouping. Rockets targeted a vehicle inside the Nujaba'a “logistics support headquarters” killing a local commander Mushtaq Talib al-Said and one of his aides. Two other members of the group were also killed in the strike, police and militia sources told Reuters.
