A clearly enraged Speaker stopped the party leaders trading blows over immigration to say: 'Mr Bristow, I think you are going to be leaving... 'I'm asking you to leave now because otherwise I will name you.' Under Commons procedures 'naming' is the process by which the Speaker formally ejects an MP. Mr Bristow conceded outside of the Commons: 'I got a little over-excited.'
