2023 peace laureate Narges Mohammadi has asked that her daughter Kiana deliver a message that she has managed to smuggle out of prison in Tehran, Iran.
Mohammadi was awarded the peace prize “for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all.” She is currently imprisoned for her fight for human rights in Iran.
