Last summer, I was looking for a leak in the water system. I dug for over 2 weeks in 30 plus degree heat. In the end I never found the leak. I decided to change all the plumbing and the bathroom. I was planning on changing the bathroom next year anyway. After digging a while, I found that the pipes had been changed from original steel to stainless and PVC except one pipe, the laundry room pipe. So the leak was probably under the bathroom but I never found were the pipe was starting to connect to the laundry room. After the change, the water consumption went from around 40 cubic meter down to 12 cubic meters a month.
