Satellite imagery of North Korea’s Rason Special Economic Zone suggests it is being used to ship weapons for Russia’s war in Ukraine, according to US and South Korean officials and analysts. They say Russian ships with links to its military logistics system have been regularly arriving in Rason port, and that North Korea has sent some 2,000 containers to Russia, suspected of carrying artillery shells and possibly short-range missiles.
