SCIM stands for "System for Cross-domain Identity Management." SCIM is a standard protocol that facilitates the automated exchange of user identity information between identity domains, making it easier for organizations to manage and synchronize user identities across different systems.
SCIM streamlines the process of managing user identities across different domains and systems.
In this Video we will learn how SCIM is utilized in Cripsa's services
Importing User Details into UserPool:
After registering a project in Cripsa, organizations can use SCIM to import user details into the Cripsa UserPool.
This process involves two steps: generating a CSV template file and uploading the filled CSV file to sync user information.
Users can generate a CSV template file through the SCIM section in Cripsa's Cross-Domain Identity Management.
This template file serves as a structured format for organizing user details, such as usernames, emails, and other relevant attributes.
Once the CSV template file is filled with user details, users can upload it through the SCIM interface in Cripsa.
Upon successful upload, the SCIM functionality synchronizes the user information from the CSV file, updating the UserPool in Cripsa.
SCIM ensures that user details are efficiently transferred and synchronized between Cripsa's UserPool and other identity management systems.
