Catastrophe strikes Moominvalley again, this time in the shape of an underwater volcano. A huge tidal wave sweeps across the valley, leaving just the top floor of Moominhouse above water. The family, Sniff, Snorkmaiden and Little My save themselves on board a house that comes floating by. It is an eerie building, full of clothes and hats and mirrors and strange machinery and huge paintings that drop down from the ceiling.
