Miao finds an egg that has fallen from its nest in the tree above. She is so excited, she wants to keep the egg! Dad helps Miao understand that, even though she found it, she can't keep the egg because it doesn't belong to her. He explains that the egg belongs in the nest and the mama bird needs their help returning the egg to its nest. In the end, Dad takes Miao in his arms and lifts her up high to help her return the egg to its nest.
