It is located in Hapyeong-ri, Sacheon-myeon, and has a 200m long, 4,000m2 white sand beach. Hapyeong was named Hapyeong-dong (荷坪洞) after Chodang Heo Yeop's second son, Heo Bong, who lived here. It is a quiet and clean place with a white sand field leading to Backbul Beach and a wide pine forest behind it, making it a popular destination for families. In front of the beach is Haedari Rock (seal, sea dog), so named because many seals used to live on this rock in the past, and their cries are said to have been heard even in private homes. Guests can stay at bed and breakfasts and there are many raw fish restaurants, so you can taste fresh raw fish.
