The Israeli defence forces has released a statement on Sunday (7 January), stating that Hezbollah terrorist group is "dragging Lebanon into an unnecessary war".
IDF Spokesperson RAdm. Daniel Hagari said: “We have a duty to defend our people, if not through diplomatic means, then through the force of arms. The diplomatic window may be short, but it’s still open.”
This comes exactly 3 months after 1,200 Israeli people were killed and butchered in an attack by Hamas on Oct 7.
