1 Potato! My friends can't believe this is made with 1 potato! 💯fluffy and delicious
Ingredients:
1 Potato 200g
Milk 250g
White sugar 25g/2tbsp
Instant yeast 3g/1tsp
All-purpose or bread flour 300g
Salt 3g/½tsp
Unsalted butter 28g/2tbsp
Recipe:
200g potato
Dice the potato
Water
Cook for 15 minutes on medium-high heat
Drain the water
Mash the potato
250g milk
Mix well
25g white sugar
3g instant yeast
Mix well
28g unsalted butter
Microwave for 20-30 seconds
Add to the milk
300g all-purpose or bread flour
Sift the flour
3g salt
Mix well
Cover and set aside for 20 minutes
After 20 minutes
A bit of oil
Transfer the dough to the bowl with oil
Cover and rise until double-size
20x8x6 cm loaf pan
Spread butter on the inside
After letting the dough rise
Sprinkle some flour
Shape the dough
Cut the dough in half
Shape each piece of dough into a ball
Cover and rest for 15 minutes
Flatten the dough
Roll the dough up
Transfer to the loaf pan
Repeat
Cover and rise for about 45 minutes
Sift some flour
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 375F/190C
Cover the top with aluminum foil when the surface is golden brown
After baking
Place on a rack to cool down
So delicious!
