As of Dec. 20, 2023, single-use plastic items will be banned across Canada. Meanwhile, B.C. is also expanding efforts to tackle hard-to-recycle plastics. As Janella Hamilton reports, the plastic ban is welcome news for many in the province — although it could come at an additional cost.
