Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territory since 1967 has been one of the main obstacles to peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians. Amongst the eight thousand Jewish settlers who were relocated from the south of the Gaza Strip in 2005, some have settled down in the West Bank. As Israel’s war with Hamas rages on, some Jewish settlers are hoping to return to Gaza.
