The China coast guard vessels expelled 78 Japanese fishing boats accused of illegally entering China waters near the disputed Diaoyu/Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea. The Diaoyu/Senkaku Islands are a group of uninhabited islets claimed by both China and Japan.
