In a goodwill gesture from the dominant Meitei community in Manipur’s Imphal valley, civilians ensured the safety of a Kuki woman. Meitei people handed over the 34-year-old Kuki woman Kimneilhing Kipgen to security personnel in a gesture that raises hopes of reconciliation. Manipur police in the Imphal East district said Kipgen is has been reunited with her family after she was found by Kukis in the valley on December 26. Watch the video to know more.
