Sir Keir Starmer has laid out his economic plans for government as he vows not to “turn on the spending taps” if Labour is elected.
In a speech at the Resolution Foundation, an independent think tank, Starmer presented some of the “huge constraints” his party faces in office and how he plans to combat them.
This includes reforms in areas such as planning, a more competitive tax regime and new focus on skills and industry.
